Gloria lives with her parents and six siblings. Her name "Neno" comes from the Acholi word to see. Her mother gave her this name because she was seeing a lot of problems when she gave birth to Gloria.

During Covid, the family relocated to their home in Northern Uganda so they could return to their roots of working the land. Trying to earn enough money to provide for the family's need was no longer possible in Kampala.

Gloria hopes to start Primary 5. She has dreams of finishing school, a dream her mother was unable to achieve because of the war in Northern Uganda.
